Ruathain

Alien, quasi-technological relics of untold power, lost to forgotten places. Hidden and unearthed in places dark and deep. Ruathain are the most highly sought after items in the world of Almost. Characters that openly use and display these devices will find themselves hunted by various factions of collectors, thieves, cut throats, assassins or far worse. It is believed that Ruathain were created by an ancient race of Eldritch alien beings and the most Legendary are said to be wielded by horrifying god like entities. Access to new and even undiscovered Eldritch Domains can be obtained by harvesting the inherent intelligence contained within the ancient relics known as Ruathain.
